Missing you. At times I find myself just saying out loud "How can you be gone?". I never receive an answer and I don't think it will ever make any sense. I just know I miss you & feel such a sharp void in my heart.

I went to Favorites today and placed two bets for the Kentucky Derby race that is tomorrow, in honor of you. You never missed these three big races. I brought you home a Derby guide to keep in your special spot. Doesn't matter if either horse wins because I won having you as my dad.
