Marvell L. (Cromwell) Herren

Marvell L. Herren, of Colonia died Sunday, January 15th at the Brighton Gardens Assisted Living in Edison.  She was 75.

Born in Alhambra, California, she was raised in Castro Valley and lived in Foster City before moving to Colonia in 2010.

She worked as City Clerk in Forest City, California for 20 years and as District Clerk for the Alameda County Water District in Fremont before retiring in the mid-1990s.

Marvell loved to travel and did so often with her many friends.  She also loved her dog, Teddy, shopping for clothes and especially spending time with her family.

Her brother, James Harold Cromwell died in 2006.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Ross & Marie Herren of Colonia; and 4 grandchildren

Committal service and interment will take place in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield on Wednesday, January 18th at 11 AM.  Arrangements handled by the GOSSELIN FUNERAL HOME, Edison.
