Helen Zullo passed from this life into the eternal presence of our Lord, Jesus Christ, on January 4,2018 at the Whispering Knolls Assisted Living Facility. She lived a gloriously full, passionate life for over ninety-nine years filled with continuous love for family and friends. A woman of many talents, she loved to sing which she did from the early age of five to nearly the end of her life. She sang professionally in her early adult years both on radio and in night clubs and continued to entertain everyone in her wide circle of family and friends at every holiday, party, and wedding - an amazing number of performances! Her hobbies included gardening, bowling, crocheting, and throwing elaborate parties.
Helen was predeceased by her husband of 47 years Alfred Zullo. Surviving are her children Effie Martyniuk (Raymond), Maria Mantak, Carmen Zullo (Annmarie), Dino Zullo (Pamela). She was blessed with eight grandchildren, Alison Loro (John), James Masters (Leanne), Jessica Walker (Ryan), Matthew Zullo (Alexandra), Joseph Masters (Mara), Christina Mantak, Daniel Zullo (Olivia), and Stephanie Zullo. She enjoyed five great-grandchildren, Evan Masters, Sylvia Loro, Kyle Masters, Rosalie Loro, and Graham Walker.
Helen Zullo’s life has been an inspiration to all who knew her and a gift for which we will always be grateful. May she rest forever in God’s peace as she joins the heavenly choir.
