Evelyn Paige Weatherington

Evelyn Paige Weatherington, of Edison entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 19th 2015.  She was 88.

Born in Jacksonville, Florida, she moved to Maine in the early 1960s.  She moved to New Jersey in the early 1970s and lived in various areas before settling in Edison.

Evelyn worked as a Private Home Nurse’s Aide for over 50 years and retired after working for several different families.  She was also a parishioner of the White Rock Baptist Church in Edison, during which time she developed many cherished relationships.

She enjoyed life, traveling and especially gardening flowers.  Those who knew her best would say she had a sense of humor that would always get you laughing and put a smile on your face.

She is predeceased by her parents, Johnnie Paige, Sr. and Mimie Frasier-Paige; and brother, Johnnie Paige, Jr.

Evelyn is survived by her sister-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  She was loved, cherished and will be greatly missed by many friends and relatives.

Family and friends are invited to meet at the White Rock Baptist Church, 247 Nicholson Avenue, Edison on Saturday, April 25th at 9 AM.  A Celebration of Her Life will follow at 10 AM.  Committal service and interment will be held privately.
