Alberta C. (Konzelmann) Campbell

Alberta C. Campbell, of Iselin died Thursday, February 23rd at Haven Hospice at the JFK Medical Center in Edison.  She was 90.

Born in the Bronx, New York, she has lived in Iselin since 1954.

Alberta was a homemaker.  She was also a longtime, active parishioner of the First Presbyterian Church of Iselin where she was an over 50-year member of the church choir and had also served as the choir librarian.  She was also a Girl Scout Troop leader many years ago.

Surviving are her husband of 68 years, Curtis; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne & Sharon Campbell of Middlesex; daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn & James Sheehan of Roselle and Wanda & Anthony Tafun of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; twin sister, Mae Zimmerman of Roselle; 4 grandchildren, Brett Campbell (fiancée Lea), Ryan Campbell, Krista Campbell and Allison Tafun; sister-in-law, Gertrude Campbell; nephew, Glenn and niece, Gail.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 27th from 3-7 PM at the GOSSELIN FUNERAL HOME, 660 New Dover Road, Edison.  Cremation will be held privately.  A Memorial Service at the First Presbyterian Church of Iselin will be held on Saturday, March 4th at 1 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Iselin.
