Vincenza “Enza” Pagano passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Vallata, Italy to parents Nunzio and Corinna (Grassi) DePaola. She attended Sant’Angelo dei Lombardi, Italy and studied law. She married the love of her life, Anthony and moved to the United States. In addition to raising their family of four children, Enza was a talented seamstress who owned her own clothing store for several years. She taught her children, grandchildren and great granddaughters the importance of family and passed on her passion for cooking, sewing, and reading. One of her favorite pastimes was going to Atlantic City, NJ with her husband Tony. 

Enza was actively involved in her community and was a founding member of the K of C Ladies Auxiliary #6571 forty years ago. She served in all positions of the auxiliary and was a Trustee at the time of her death. She was a past member of the Holy Rosary Society and a communicant of St. John Vianney Church in Colonia. 

Enza is predeceased by her loving parents Corinna and Nunzio DePaola, beloved brother Leo and sister-in-law Kathleen DePaola. She is survived by her adoring husband of 62 years, Anthony; two daughters, Nina Johnson and her husband Bruce, Middletown; and Linda Pagano, Brick; two sons, Rocco, Colonia; and  Anthony and his wife Denise, Seaside Park. She also leaves behind two granddaughters, Nicole Merklinger and her husband Matthew; Kristen Gandossy and her husband Dylan; grandson, Erich Berger; and twin great granddaughters, Ava and Portia. Also surviving are her sister, Leda Pacilio , Italy and her sister-in-law Geraldine DePaola,  Colonia; her brothers, Luigi and his wife Pina, Italy; Nino, Kearny; Mario and his wife Pulcheria, Colonia; as well as many nieces, nephews, and amazing friends who meant the world to her.

Visitation Wednesday February 10, from 4PM to 8PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison. Funeral Services Thursday February 11, at 8:30AM at the funeral home followed by a 9:30AM Mass at St John Vianney RC Church Colonia. Entombment St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
