Mike was such a wonderful gentle soul who I liked from the minute I met him. Mike is leaving behind such a beautiful family who I know will grow up hearing nothing but wonderful stories and beautiful memories of their father. He was such a great husband and father. Rest in piece Mike.

I have no words of my own right now, besides that it's not fair. My heart is too sad. So I will post Brad Paisley's words.

Mike was so very easy to talk to, calm and supportive in an IT "crisis", and a really genuine person. I admired and respected him, but most of all liked him very much. It is heartbreaking to think of what all of you have lost. There are few people that you meet in life that make a lasting impression, that you remember with fondness. Remembering Mike will always bring a smile to my face, but an ache in my heart.

May the Lord keep you in His care, provide you comfort now and always.
