An angel on earth, Judy A Sokloski, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She loved life, and her special laughter was recognizable by those who knew her. Born in Trenton, NJ, and graduate of Keyport High School, Judy resided in Old Bridge, before moving to Colonia in 1992. She was retired as a Purchasing Director for Somerset Technology in Somerset and Middlesex County College. Judy continually gave to her community through volunteering for the Woodbridge Lions Club, Centrastate Auxiliary, and the Union County Arts Center. Additionally, Judy served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. James RC Church.

Judy was predeceased by her parents, Liselott (Wolff) and Edgar Cottrell. Surviving are her husband of 25 years, Frank Sokloski, her children Jennifer Sokloski and Jason Sokloski, her sister Joy Kingshott and  her husband Peter, her brother Barry Cottrell, his wife Linda, and nephews Dustin and Brian Cottrell.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 7:00PM to 9:00PM. at the Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Lions Club will have a eulogy 7:00PM Thursday. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, January 19, 2018 9:30AM at St. James RC Church, Woodbridge (everyone to meet at church). Interment is in St Mary Cemetery, Wanamie, PA.
