Chester J. Gravish
March 27, 1936 ~ August 28, 2016 (age 80) 80 Years Old
Chester J Gravish passed away peacefully on Sunday August 28,2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was born in Port Carbon, PA and resided in Elizabeth before moving to Colonia 43 years ago. Chester was the owner of Chet’s Service Station in Carteret for 51 years retiring 5 years ago.
Chester was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Frances Gravish, his sons James and Robert Harbachuk, his grandson RJ Gravish and his sister Elaine. Surviving is his wife of 26 years Shirley Sutton Gravish, his children Joseph Garvish, Richard Gravish and his wife Jamie, Peter Harbachuk and his wife Annie and Daniel Harbachuk, 2 grandchildren Melanie and Nicole also a great grandson Tyler.
Visitation will be Thursday September 1,2016 from 12 noon to 1:00 PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison followed by a 1:00 PM Blessing at the Funeral Home. Cremation will be Private.
