Youssef Bisheit Obituary

Youssef Nazear Bisheit, 74, passed away on July 3, 2026, after years of health struggles. His family finds comfort in knowing he is now at peace. Born on April 4, 1952, in Cairo, Egypt, he embarked on a remarkable journey that took him from his birthplace to the United States, where he built a life defined by hard work, love for his family, and an enduring legacy.

Youssef began his career in the United States as a truck driver. Through determination and perseverance, he eventually purchased his own trucks and founded Joe's Trucking Company, Inc., a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication. He took great pride in providing for his family and ensuring they wanted for nothing.

Youssef was known for his humor and warmth. He had a deep love of food and delighted in feeding others, a reflection of his generous nature. He cherished time spent with his granddaughters, who brought immense joy to his life. Youssef was a devoted Christian who also had a passion for the beach and soccer, finding happiness in the simple pleasures of life.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Bisheit; daughters Lorraine Bisheit and Amanda Giangeruso;Son-in-Law Robert Giangeruso, granddaughters Sadie Giangeruso and Charlotte Bisheit; and sisters Yvonne Bishai, Mary Botros, and Bassma Aziz. He was predeceased by his son Daniel Bisheit and brothers Kameal Bisheit and Ibrahim Nazear.

Youssef’s memory will live on through the lives he touched with his kindness, humor, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. His family finds comfort in the promise of eternal life and the hope of being reunited with him one day. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Road, Edison, New Jersey.
