It is with great sadness that we announce that, after a short illness, William James (“Bill”) Heath entered into eternal life at the age of 72 on November 1, 2024 with his family lovingly by his side.
Bill was born at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ on September 28, 1952 to Robert and Dorothea Edna (Née Fulton) Heath. He is survived by his sister, Peggy Ellen and his brothers Richard and Robert (Maryeve). He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorothea who raised him with unconditional love, faith and support and who were waiting for him at the door to heaven.
Bill grew up in a fun and loving home in Iselin, NJ. He attended St. Cecelia School in Iselin and graduated from Colonia High School in Colonia, NJ. Shortly after his graduation, he began his long 25 year career at Bell Pharmacy in Edison, NJ where he served as manager. Bill enjoyed his Bell Pharmacy “family” and found great fulfillment caring for his many customers and their health care needs.
Bill embodied the best of qualities: steadfast love, loyalty, dedication, an exceptional work ethic and a profound generosity of spirit. More than all else he had the biggest heart and accepted everyone with empathy and kindness.
Bill will be deeply missed by his family and all those he has left behind. Our hearts are broken by this loss. He was one of a kind and to be loved by him was to be truly blessed.
“The world changes from year to year, our lives from day to day, but the love and memory of you shall never pass away.”
