William Cirasuolo

William "Bill" Cirasuolo, born on October 19, 1954 lived 70 years before passing on June 19, 2025. Born in Paterson, New Jersey, he lived and raised his family in Colonia, New Jersey. A devoted husband, cherished father, beloved brother, uncle, and loyal friend to many. He left this world surrounded by love and family, having lived a life full of purpose, strength, and unwavering faith.

With a career spanning over 40 years in transportation logistics, Bill distinguished himself as an intelligent, hardworking professional. His dedication and leadership were unmatched, and he accomplished what many only strive for. Beyond his impressive work ethic was a spontaneous soul with a zest for life. Bill loved meeting new people and he would strike up a conversation with anyone and anywhere. He was a man of many hobbies and interests. He enjoyed watching classic films and loved music. His greatest pleasure was spending time with his loved ones.

Bill attended William Paterson University before proudly serving in the United States Air Force. After his service, he dedicated 26 years to APA Transportation Corp. Teamsters Local 617 before retiring. At the time of his passing, he was employed by the Edison Board of Education.

Bill is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Karen; his beloved daughter, Alexis; and his cherished grandson, Jake. He also leaves behind his sister, brothers, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

Bill will be remembered for his unwavering work ethic, generous spirit, sharp sense of humor, and his willingness to help anyone in need. His legacy of kindness and dedication will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A funeral Mass celebrating Bill’s life will be held at: 
St. John Vianney Church in Colonia, NJ on Thursday June 26th at 10:00am followed by the inurnment at: St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia, NJ at 11:15am. Family and friends are invited to attend.
