Walter G. Clark, 83, of Fords NJ passed away on September 29, 2025 at JFK Hospital in Edison NJ.
Walter was born in Perth Amboy, NJ to James Patrick Clark and Veronica Clark in 1942. He went to high school at Saint Mary’s, Perth Amboy and graduated in 1960. He served in the United States Army. Walter worked as a Postal Clerk for the United States Post Office for 48 years.
Walter was a train enthusiast and enjoyed Lionel Model Trains as a hobby. He was always excited to watch Notre Dame Football, NY Mets Baseball, and NJ Devils Hockey. Walter was an avid reader and enjoyed numerous trips to the library, and especially liked to read historical publications. He enjoyed life to the fullest, traveling with his family, going to the apple orchards and to seafood restaurants, and he loved going to church.
Walter is survived by his wife of over 50 years Joan, his son Walter (wife Sherry), sister Veronica Stevans (husband Daniel), nieces Ronni Ann Breza (husband Kevin, children Indigo and Gregory) and Alicia Stevans, nephew Daniel J. Stevans, sister-in-law Nancy Yavor, brother-in-law Charles Griffin, and many more. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother James Patrick Clark.
Funeral service will be held at Saint Cecelia’s Roman Catholic Church in Iselin, NJ on October 4, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Saint Gertrude Cemetery & Mausoleum in Colonia, NJ.
