Virginia Labial Batandolo, 78, peacefully passed away on August 4, 2024, at University of North Carolina REX hospital, Raleigh, NC. Born in Magallanes, Butuan, Agusan in the Philippines, Virginia's sense of adventure started young as she immigrated to the US in 1970 and spent the rest of her life as a New Jersey native.
Virginia dedicated many years of her life to her career at Unilever, where she worked tirelessly until her well-deserved retirement in 2006. She was also actively involved in the CIT Alumni Association and The Greater Middlesex Santo Nino Prayer Group organization, as well as various community activities.
Outside of her professional life, Virginia had a passion for traveling the world and exploring new cultures. She cherished the time spent with her family and friends and always had a smile to brighten someone's day.
Virginia Batandolo will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will be carried on by her siblings Araceli, Clarita, brother Bonifacio Jr., Rhodora, Editha, Precy, and Linda, her children Allan and wife Kimberly, Cheryl and husband Joseph, her grandchild Samuel, and granddogs Coco and Adele. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
