Thomas A Giaimo

Thomas Anthony Giaimo passed away Monday, November 30, 2020, at the age of 64. Thomas was born in Elizabeth, NJ, and resided in Colonia before moving to Matawan, NJ in 1982.

Thomas worked at Newark Airport as a Mechanic and then transitioned into Car Sales in 1987. Thomas worked at Parkway Oldsmobile, which later became Pine Belt Nissan of Keyport. He was fondly known as “Tommy G” by all his customers. He worked in the car business for over 30 years before retiring and was honored every year with the title “Salesman of the Year”.

Thomas was predeceased by his parents, Anthony W. Giaimo and Olga Giaimo of Colonia. Surviving are his children, Danielle and Nicole Giaimo, his former wife, Mary Giaimo, his sister, Linda Giaimo, and his brother, Anthony Giaimo.

Tommy had a lifelong love for cars. His 1970 Nova was his favorite toy and he took great pride in all the work he had done on it. He also loved the Yankees, and he regularly watched the games with his family. Tommy was quick-witted and always wanted to tell you a joke. He was a great cartoon artist and used that talent to make his co-workers laugh. His pride and joy were his twin daughters, Danielle and Nicole, who he loved very much. Tom, you will be greatly missed.
