Susan J McGrory

RAHWAY, NJ - Susan J. McGrory, 59, passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2021. She was born on December 5, 1961 in Summit, NJ.

Susan married Kenneth McGrory in 1984 and settled into their home in Rahway, NJ. They have enjoyed 44 years together, and recently celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary.

Susan graduated from Arthur L. Johnson Regional High School and received her Bachelor’s in Special Education from Kean University, the latter of which preceded her career as a teacher in the Educational Services Commission of New Jersey, first at Raritan Valley Academy and most recently at Piscataway Regional Day School.

She was predeceased by her mother Joan and her sister, Carol Kazules. In addition to her husband Kenneth, she is survived by her son, Kenneth M. McGrory, Jr. of Jersey City, NJ and her daughter, Kathleen E. McGrory of Elizabeth, NJ. She is also survived by her father Bernard R. Fallon and stepmother Alice M. Fallon of Orlando, FL, her siblings Debbie Fallon of East Brunswick, NJ, Linda Lenkiewicz of Orlando, FL, Mark Fallon of San Diego, CA, Patricia Cady of Pittsburgh, PA, Kathleen Nave of North Stonington, CT, and John Fallon of Orangeburg, NY, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Susan will be remembered for her warm hospitality, love of family and genuine thoughtfulness towards others.

A memorial service will be held from 2-4 PM on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Road, Edison, NJ.
