Steven G Bence

Steven G Bence passed away Friday May 7, 2021 at Robert Wood University Hospital in Rahway. He was born in New York City and resided in Colonia all his life.

Steven was a 1981 graduate from Seton Hall University receiving a BA in Marketing and Economics. He was a License Real Estate Broker Associate for 37 years. He began his career at Choice Reality In Iselin for 10 years, Doris Bence Reality in Colonia for 30 years and most recently with Remax 1st Advantage in Colonia.

Steven loved the beach, dogs (especially Charlie and Luke) and spending time in Atlantic City. He was an Avid Sports Fan; his favorite teams were the NY Mets and the NY Knicks. He was a gentle giant with a big smile and an even bigger heart.

Steven is predeceased by his father George Bence. Surviving are his mother Doris Bence, his brother Don Bence , sister-in-law Cindy, niece Nicole, God daughter Lyn Keogh and her husband Brendan and many cousins.

Visitation Tuesday May 11, 2021 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road, Edison followed by a 6:30pm Blessing. Cremation will be private.
