Stephen E. Pysarchyk , 85, of Iselin, NJ passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at JFK Medical Center in
Edison.
He was born and raised in Linden and resided in Avenel before moving to Iselin in 1965.
Steve attended Linden schools and was employed as a tractor/trailer driver for J&S Trucking Service in Linden for 43 years, retiring in 2001. He was a member of Teamster Locals 478 and 560.
He served in the NJ National Guard and Army Reserve from 1956-1964 and also was a Lifetime Member of theWoodbridge Elks Lodge #2116.
Steve was a devoted long time member of St. Cecelia RC Church in Iselin, actively serving as usher and was involved in various Church Ministries.
He was predeceased by his parents Steve & Marion Pysarchyk and brother George.
Surviving are his loving wife of 62 years, Gloria (Nagy), son John and his wife Susan, two grandchildren Stephen and Blaine, great grandson Ryan and Godson Jonne. Also surviving are sisters-in-law Candace Dale and Janice Cannella and nephews Adam, Ronald and David and niece Michelle.
Visitation to be held Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 3-7PM at Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Rd., Edison
Funeral Services Friday 8:45AM at Gosselin's followed by Mass at St. Cecelia Church at 10:15AM. Entombment at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia NJ
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Memphis, TN
