Sharon A Tsongas

Sharon Ann Tsongas (Ratchford), 73 of Piscataway. Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and Yaya, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2024 at RWJ in New Brunswick surrounded by her loved ones.
 

Born in Newark, NJ to the late James and Vivian (Wright) Ratchford. Sharon moved to Piscataway where she resided with her loving husband Elefterious (Larry) Tsongas. She was the manager at Sunset Diner until she retired. She was known as a vibrant, caring, charismatic individual with a great sense of humor. 

Sharon will be remembered by her loving husband Larry Tsongas;  Daughters Sharon Abruzzese and husband Michael, Stacy Wuttke, Jennifer Mortimer; Grandma to  Anthony, Jarred, Brianna, Brooke, David, Danny and Erin; Yaya to  Priscilla, David Jr and Rocco; siblings Marlene Catalano and husband Ronnie of Pennsylvania, Gary Ratchford and husband Stanley of Georgia; sister-in laws Helen, Harriet and Jackie; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Sharon was predeceased by her parents James and Vivian; siblings Thomas, Jerry, Jimmy, Joseph, Joan Whitehead, Vivienne Jeanne Gehring, Carole Zecca, and Diane Ratchford. 

Goodbyes are not forever, Goodbyes are not the end, they simply mean we'll miss you until we meet again.
