Sapna Manohar Rupani, age 71, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026 under the loving care of her family and the staff at JFK University Medical Center.
Sapna was born in Kolkata, India on September 5, 1954 and grew up in India where she completed her education in Home Economics and Business Administration. She married belated Manohar Rupani in 1979 and moved to Queens, NY after 1982. After living in New York for several years with her husband and two children, she moved to Old Bridge, NJ where she worked as a sales manager at Michael C Fina. She was currently residing in Colonia, NJ, and was working at Macys Jewelry in Edison, New Jersey for fourteen years before she decided to take some time off to focus on her health.
Sapna was very close to her family and friends. She also, loved cooking, spending time at the temple, and shopping. Sapna was friendly, outgoing and a fun-loving person who loved to meet new people.
Sapna is survived by her family members including her son Deepak, daughter Vandana, son-in-law Varun, her brothers (Raju and Dilip), sisters-in-law (Pooja, Bhavna and Komal); and her sister Vandana and brother-in-law Jai. Along with her children and siblings she has many nephews and nieces. Her nephews are (Jiten and spouse Deepa, Sanju, Sidharth and spouse Resham; and Ravi) and nieces are (Poonam and spouse Girish, Kaajal and spouse Jay, Namrata and spouse Tarun, Barkha; and Sneha).
Sapna was a beautiful human being and will be remembered forever by family, friends, neighbors and co-workers.
