Santo Cordoma

Santo Cordoma passed away Monday October 19, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Varapodio, Reggio Calabria, Italy coming to the United States in the summer of 1956 settling in Elizabeth before moving to Colonia in 1995. He had a long successful career as a shoe repairman and very well known and respected in the community of Newark, NJ. After more than 45 years in the industry he retired in 2005. 

He was predeceased by his loving wife of 57 years Maria (nee Cutrupi); parents Guiseppe and Carmela Cordoma; and his older brother Saverio Cordoma. Surviving are his children Carmela Iskandar and her husband Mark, Joseph Cordoma and his wife Holly, Anthony Cordoma and his wife Megan, his grandchildren Marissa, Christopher, Brandon, Gabriella, Caitlin, also his younger brother and sister.

Family will receive friends and family on Friday October 23, 2020 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm, at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Funeral Services 8:00am Saturday October 24, 2020 at the funeral home followed by a 9:00am Mass at St. John Vianney Church, Colonia. Entombment to follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
