Ryan Amaral Obituary

Ryan Joseph Amaral, 32, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, in New Brunswick, NJ, enveloped in the boundless love of the family he lived for.

Born in Red Bank and raised in Edison to Evelyn and Jose Amaral, Ryan was a man of fierce ambition and an even larger heart. A 2012 graduate of JP Stevens High School, he went on to earn a degree in Finance and Economics from Rowan University in 2016. Ryan’s professional journey was marked by a brilliant mind for finance, taking him from Vanguard and PGIM into the renewable energy sector with NRG and Genie Solar. In December 2025, he realized a lifelong dream of entrepreneurship by founding his own firm, Renatus Energy.

While Ryan was a gifted and new entrepreneur, his true "Renatus" – his rebirth –came through his family. In August 2019, Ryan met his soulmate, Diana. They married on October 13, 2023, beginning a love story that was tragically short in years but infinite in depth. Together, they built a beautiful life centered on their two children: twenty-two-month-old Valentina and three-week-old Matteo. Of all the successes Ryan achieved, his proudest legacy remains the love he poured into being a father. He was a constant source of strength for his wife, a wondrous provider for his children, he was a devoted son to his parents, an adoring brother to Kristina and brother-in-law to Braulio, and a doting uncle who cherished his niece, Aurora.

Ryan didn’t just live life, he filled it. He was a lively, big-hearted, and unforgettable presence who found joy in every moment. Whether he was shouting for Manchester United and the Red Bulls, perfecting a recipe at the grill for those he loved, or lost in a woodworking project in his garage, Ryan’s spirit was infectious.

Ryan’s legacy lives on in the spark in his daughter’s eyes, the peace in his newborn son’s face, and the countless lives touched by his drive and giving heart. He is survived by his beloved wife, Diana Amaral; his children, Valentina and Matteo Amaral; his parents, Evelyn and Jose Amaral; his sister, Kristina Amaral-Salas; his brother-in-law, Braulio Salas, his niece, Aurora Salas; and his grandparents, Virginio and Olivia Amaral.
