Rosemary I. Nicolato

Rosemary I. Nicolato, age 92 of Whiting, NJ passed away peacefully at home on March 10,2023.

She was born in Bloomfield, NJ on June 6, 1930 into a big, loving Italian family of the late Pietro and Julia Buttitta. She was number 10 of the 11 children in her family.

She graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1948. In 1950 she met the love of her life Franceso (Frank) Nicolato  and they married in 1951. Together had 7 children;  Paula, Andrea (passed 1/17/21) Laura, Frank, Peter, Ronald and David, all of whom were special to her . She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren;

Frank, Linda, Nicole, Joann, Richard, Chelsea, Amanda, Ryan, Ashley, Peter, Alexis, Mia, and Molly 

and her 9 great grandchildren;

Dorian, Lucas, Gianna, Nicholas, Lydia, Ryan, Scarlett, Silas, Elizabeth, and Romeo

Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her greatest joy for the rest of her life.  

After 52 years of a beautiful and loving marriage she lost her husband Frank in 2004. With the strength and love of her family she lived on for them until she went home to be with the Lord,her loving husband and other departed family members 

Rosemary was very community-minded throughout her life, organizing clothing drives for families in the Potters Crossing section of North Edison in the 1960s and 1970s, leading Brownie troops as a den mother, and serving as an elected Ocean County Republican Committeewoman in her adopted hometown of Manchester Township, NJ.
