Rose Liantonio (née Maio), 99, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family.
Born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey. In 1973, she moved to Colonia, where she made her home and created countless cherished memories with family and friends.
Rose was predeceased by her beloved husband, Vito Liantonio. She is survived by her devoted children, Lucy DeMaria and her husband Joseph, and Philip Liantonio and his wife Theresa.
She was a loving and proud grandmother to Joseph, Jenna and her husband Joe, Victoria and her husband Daniil, and Michelle. Rose was also blessed to be a great-grandmother to JJ and Matthew, who brought her immense joy.
Rose's greatest happiness came from her family and friends. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, warmth, and unwavering love for those around her. Her legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured and inspired.
The family takes comfort in knowing that Rose lived a long and meaningful life and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
