Rosa M. Aquino, 59, of Rahway, New Jersey, passed away peacefully in the morning hours of March 25, 2026. She was born on September 27, 1966 and was a beloved mother, devoted wife, sister, aunt and true friend to so many over the years. Rosa enjoyed dancing, music, cooking for family, listening to her sons’ outlandish stories about their days and a good game of dominos. She was a talented cook in the kitchen from making her famous chicken empanadas to her finger licking good pernil. Rosa loved making those around her smile and laugh to the very last day. She would always say you look prettier smiling and laughing than you do crying so cut it out. Her family meant the world to her and she was extremely proud of all of them.
“Those we love don’t go away they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard but always near, still loved, still missed, and held so dear.” Rosa’s big smile and joy will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Rosa is survived by her loving children Jimmy Uriel Barrientos and Jimmy Gabriel Barrientos, her loving husband Jimmy Barrientos, her loving brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
