Robert L Sturges

Robert L Sturges,72, of Iselin, NJ, passed away Monday February 1, at home following a long battle with cancer. Rob served in the U.S. Navy on the USS John F. Kennedy Aircraft Carrier from 1964-1967. He was retired from Merck, where he had spent the last 15 years of his career.  

Rob enjoyed boating, fishing and spending time at the Jersey Shore and Monmouth Park with his dear wife of 36 years, Cindy.  He was an avid Giants and Yankee fan, attending games whenever he could. 

Rob was predeceased by his parents Ruth and James Sturges and his brother Richard Sturges. He is survived by his wife Cindy, Sister Lynne and sister in-law Irene. Rob is also survived by his nieces and nephews and lifelong friends. He was beloved by an incredible amount of family and friends.

Visitation Saturday February 13, 2021 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison.
