Robert Herman Krohne

Robert H Krohne passed away on Wednesday January 11, 2023, at the age of 90 in Whiting NJ. He was born in New York City but was a long-time resident of Colonia NJ before he retired to Whiting NJ in 1999.  
He was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 1955. He served from 1953 to 1955. For 42 years he was the foreman at St Gertrude's Cemetery in Colonia, NJ.
Robert was predeceased by his parents, Herman and Catherine Krohne of Colonia NJ as well as his sister, Patricia Kozar. He was the oldest of 3 children.
He is survived by his wife, Carole M Krohne, married for 64 years and his children, Michael and his spouse Melissa Krohne, William Krohne, and Thomas and his spouse Dina Krohne. He was a devoted grandfather to his grandchildren, Cory Krohne, son of Michael and Melissa & Alexandra Krohne, daughter of Thomas and Dina. He is also survived by his brother Douglas Krohne.
