Robert Roy Diehm

Robert R. Diehm passed away Saturday January 18, 2020 at Kindred Hospital in Rahway, NJ. He was born in Brooklyn and resided in Howard Beach, Queens before moving to Edison in 1974. He proudly served our country in the Army as a military policeman during the Vietnam War.

Bob was a purchasing manager for Shamrock Technologies in Newark for 18 years retiring in 2017.  Prior he worked at J.M. Huber Corporation starting as a printer and then becoming a purchasing agent for 25 years.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Queens, NY, and enjoyed cooking for his family. Bob was very proud of being an Eagle Scout.

He was predeceased by his wife Linda Diehm and his parents Wilbur and Gladys Diehm. Surviving is his daughter Suzanne Segarra and her husband Israel, his brothers Wilbur (Butch), Roger and Walter (Scott) Diehm. He is also survived by his 2 granddaughters Scarlet and Violet Segarra.

Visitation Wednesday January 22, 2020 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison. Funeral Services 11:30am Thursday January 23, 2020 at the funeral home. Interment Clover Leaf Memorial Park Cemetery, Woodbridge.
