Philip Auriemma, 76, of Colonia, NJ, passed away on February 7, 2026 in Rahway, NJ.
Philip was born in Newark to Vincent and Phyllis Auriemma on January 5, 1950. He went to high school at Vailsburg High School and graduated in 1967. He worked as a Manager for Brookwood Auto Body Shop for 10 years, and American Body & Fender. He enjoyed his bulldogs, riding motorcycles, classic car shows, spending time with his wife, family and friends, and making everyone laugh.
Philip is survived by his wife whom he adored, Helen Auriemma of Colonia, stepson Donald Stemmer, Jr., son-in-law Gregory Casalino, brother Frank Auriemma and wife Sally Gorka, sister Maria Malangone, brother-in-law Domenick Kaufman and wife Natalie Kaufman, Arthur Kaufman Jr. and wife Cheryl Kaufman, sister-in-law Donna Zeiss and husband James Zeiss, grandchildren Sophia Stemmer, Olivia Stemmer, Gregory Casalino, Ryan Miller, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Vincent Auriemma, mother Phyllis Auriemma, father-in-law Arthur Kaufman Sr., mother-in-law Theresa Kaufman, daughter Nicole Miller, daughter-in-law Elaine Stemmer, sister Jessie Marks, brothers-in-law Joseph Malangone Sr. and Bryan Marks.
A Memorial service will be held at Gosselin Funeral Home on Sunday, February 15, 2026 from 3-5PM.
Memorial donations may be made to Parkinson’s Foundation or Alzheimer’s Foundation in lieu of flowers.
