Peter Joseph Kenny

Peter Joseph Kenny, 55 of Iselin, New Jersey passed away peacefully at JFK University Medical Center surrounded by his loving family on August 16, 2021. Born in Iselin, New Jersey to Rose and the late Peter Kenny on February 16, 1966. Peter Graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas in 1984. Upon graduation, he served in the U.S. Navy from 1985-1988. 

After serving in the Navy, Peter worked as an electrician at I.B.E.W. Local 102. He moved to Colonia, NJ in 1998 where he raised his two children, his first born Peter Jason and loving daughter Melissa. 

Peter was known for his infectious laugh, colorful language and his great sense of humor. He always loved his old sit-coms, especially Gilligan's Island. Peter was a fun loving, social soul who enjoyed going out and having a great time with anyone he met. 

He was never one to show his emotions, but one could always tell that he loved his family and would do whatever he could to protect them. He had an unbreakable bond with his sister, Cheryl and they were there for each other through thick and thin. He had a special relationship with his son, Peter Jason and he was extremely proud of his daughter, Melissa, for following his footsteps and joining the military. 

Peter is survived by his caring mother, Rose, devoted sister Cheryl and his two children Peter and Melissa. His niece Abby, nephew Aidan and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.
