Patricia E. Gravish

Patricia E. Gravish, 86, of Iselin passed away peacefully on September 19th at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Patricia has resided in the Woodbridge area for over 60 years. She was born in Pottsville, PA and previously lived in Elizabeth and Colonia before moving to Iselin. In 2021, Patricia moved to Toms River with her granddaughter, Nicole, in which they shared a mother-daughter home for 2 wonderful years. Patricia was a communicant of St. John Vianney Church in Colonia. 

Patricia grew up with a loving extended family in which love of family was very important to her. Family and her time with them, especially spent with her sons and grandchildren, was the most meaningful to her. Patricia was well known and deeply loved by the community as a kind and caring mother and grandmother figure to all. Wherever she went Patricia quickly made close friends and many of whom became like family to her. 

Patricia was best known as Ms. Pat at the Colonia Home Depot where she worked as a cashier for over 15 years. The relationships she made during this time have brought her such joy over the years. Prior to her time at Home Depot, Patricia also worked for many years at Essilor, Regina, and Burry’s Biscuits. Patricia was also known for her love of animals, especially her beloved dog Hopey who has been her close companion over recent years. 

Patricia is predeceased by her son, Joseph; and grandson, RJ. She is survived by her son, Richard; granddaughter, Nicole and Jake who she considered a grandson; granddaughter, Melanie; and great-grandson, Tyler. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 24th, from 2PM-6PM at Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 25th, at 10AM at St John Vianney Church, 420 Inman Avenue, Colonia.
