Neil L Hoefling

On April 24, 2020 at the age of 86 years old, Neil Luis Hoefling passed away. Neil was born on January 2nd , 1934 in Jersey City, NJ and recently resided in the Colonia Section of Woodbridge Township. He was an Army Veteran.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Giuseppina (nee Sorrentini), his wife Madeleine (who passed in February 2020), and his brothers, Charles and Frank.  Neil was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scotch Plains, NJ.  He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother and friend. Both Neil and Madeleine will be greatly missed, but we know we will see them again once we reach our heavenly home. Neil has 4 children, as well as, 12 stepchildren whom he loved and adored along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren that brought joy to his life as did his two fur-babies Max and Nitro. He was the patriarch of his family and a die-hard Yankees and Giants fan. He will be missed dearly as he had touched so many lives.
