Nancy (Mauser) Preston

Nancy Preston, nee Mauser, passed away peacefully at Rahway Hospital on December 30, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born in Cranford on November 27, 1934 to John and Mary Mauser.

Nancy retired from Prudential as an administrative assistant. As an active member of The New Dover United Methodist Church, Nancy volunteered in many roles throughout the years especially as active Prayer Warrior. In her early years she taught Sunday School at the United Methodist Church of Linden. She was an active member of the Evergreen Seniors, Colonia Seniors and AARP of Colonia. She served many years with the District 12 Colonia Fire Ladies Auxiliary. Nancy also was a Pennsylvania Avenue School 27 volunteer.

Nancy is predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph Preston, of 63 years; parents, John and Mary; her brother Larry Mauser.

Surviving her two daughters, Dawn Burnett and her husband Peter, Jayne Bonner and her husband John; her beloved grandchildren, Jessica, Michael and his wife Alexandria and Joseph and his fiancée Katrina.

The visitation will take place on Wednesday January 3, 2024 at the Gosselin Funeral Home from 5:00PM-9:00PM. The funeral service will begin at 10:00AM on Thursday January 4th at the Gosselin Funeral Home. The celebration of life will take place at 11:00AM on Thursday January 4th at the New Dover United Methodist Church in Edison, NJ. The cremation will be private.
