Maureen Carey passed away Thursday February 27, 2020 at Hunterdon Medical Center. Maureen leaves behind three daughters: Jessica, Shannon, and Christine and one son, John. She was blessed with three beautiful granddaughters, Ava, Myla and Elina who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her sister, Arlene Tkatch of Hunterdon County, and brother, Paul Carey, sister-in-law Linda, and two nieces, Amber and Madison of Denver. She is predeceased by her mother Bernadette and father Christopher. Maureen was a Karuna Reiki Master and dedicated many hours to practicing, teaching and volunteering in the healing community. She was involved in many charitable organizations including NOW and Catholic charities. Maureen loved gardening, traveling to new places, and spending time with her family. Maureen will be fondly remembered for her unconditional love, her laugh, and her generous spirit.
Visitation Wednesday March 4, 2020 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with a 7:30 Blessing at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Cremation will be Private.
