Matthew A Ackerman

Matthew A. Ackerman IV passed away Thursday May 27th, 2021 at The Woodlands Nursing Home in Plainfield, New Jersey. He was born in Elizabeth, and resided in Colonia before moving to Edison in 2017. He was a manager at Quick Check in Rahway for 7 years. He loved gardening, flowers, and ceramics but most important to him was his dogs Zsa Zsa and Sandi. He was member of of Knights of Columbus. 

He is predeceased by his parents Matthew and Marie Ackerman. Surviving are his siblings Anna-Marie Smith, Charles Ackerman, Joanne Ackerman, and Nancy Ackerman. He will also leave behind many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. 

Visitation Wednesday June 2nd, 2021 from 8:30 - 10:30 am at the Gosselin Funeral Home at 660 New Dover Road, Edison NJ 08820. Funeral mass to follow at 11:00 am St. Helena's RC Church in Edison. Internment St Gertrude's Cemetery.
