Mary Ann Zabatto Obituary

Mary Ann E. Zabatto, of Edison, passed away on May 17, 2020, at the age of 80, due to complications from Covid 19. Mary Ann was born and raised in Scranton, PA to Stanley and Stella Mataconis. Mary Ann was predeceased by her husband, James, and her 3 brothers Thomas (Mary Ann), Ronnie (Jean Marie), and Fr. Richard. She is survived by her son, Christopher (Sherri) and her granddaughter, Haley.

Prior to her retirement, Mary Ann worked as an Export Secretary for Hall’s Warehouse in South Plainfield. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, walking with her friends and going to Atlantic City.

Mary Ann lived a faith-filled Christian life. Mary Ann was an active member of St. Helena’s Church for many years and leaves behind a legacy of faith.

She will be laid to rest at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery. Private arrangements are by the Gosselin Funeral Home. A Celebration of Mary Ann's life will be held in the coming months.
