Mary Perricone

Maria “Mary” Perricone was born on May 6, 1924 in Newark, NJ. With her husband, Benny A. Perricone she moved to Iselin, NJ to start her family, later moving to Edison, NJ where she then lived for over 50 years.

Mary was a dedicated wife and mother, with family meaning everything to her. She was also extremely hardworking, and was an avid walker up until the age of 87.

As a long time member of St. Helena’s R.C. Church in Edison, she was known to frequent the 8:30 am mass daily and the 5 pm mass each Saturday. She recently received a blessing at mass on her 99th birthday.

Mary is preceded by her loving husband Benny A. Perricone and son, Ronald Perricone, as well as sisters Rose Ferullo, Angelina Lombardi and brothers Dominick and John Ferullo. She is survived by her sister Amelia Spaziani, Colonia, NJ, her daughters, Karen Schwaikert and her husband Harry of Edison, NJ, Mariann Nemeth and her husband William of Easton, PA and her son, Richard and his wife, Elizabeth of Mountainside, NJ. Mary has 4 grandchildren - Christie Schwaikert, Angela Hawes, Mario Perricone and Emily Zinno and was blessed with 4 great grandchildren - Amelia and Benjamin Hawes, John Zinno and Luca Perricone.
