Mary Herold passed away Monday evening March 10, 2025 at St Joseph’s Nursing Home in Woodbridge, surrounded by her loving daughter Patti. Mary was born in Nanticoke, PA where she met and married the love of her life at the age of 20. They resided in PA and had 2 daughters before moving to Iselin in 1962.
Mary was a talented seamstress and also was a brilliant pianist. She was involved with the St Cecelia’s Alter Rosary Society and the Womens Auxiliary VFW Post 2636. She was a Lifetime Member of the Colonia Deborah Iselin Chapter.
She and her husband Joseph were members of St Cecelia Church for over 60 years. Mary had a deep love and strong faith for Jesus and Mary that never wavered her entire life.
She was a devoted wife of 70 years to the late Joseph Herold loving known as her beloved Joe. She was predeceased by her sister Joan Michalek.
Surviving are her daughters Joann Jardot and her husband Christopher and Patti Parker, 4 grandchildren, Jeffrey Jardot, Janine Muscarello, Andrew Jardot and Jillian Agosto, 3 great grandchildren Reginia Raimo, Leo Jardot and Cosimo Muscarello, also 2 on the way.
