Marilyn Joan Kimball

Marilyn Joan Kimball (nee Rapacioli) 90, of Iselin, NJ went to her reward on Thursday, November 9, 2023, surrounded by her loving husband and family.

Born at home in Iselin to Joseph and Freida Rapacioli (deceased), she resided there her entire life.  Marilyn was predeceased by her siblings: Margaret, Mildred, and Richard.

Marilyn graduated from Woodbridge High School, where she played on the basketball team, and enjoyed planning the 25th reunion of her class.  She then attended business school.

Marilyn worked as a dedicated escort at JFK Medical Center for many years, and enjoyed her time spent with the patients.

She enjoyed quilting, ceramics, calligraphy, and reading.  She was known for her delicious baked goods donated to numerous sales at church and school functions - her treats were often purchased before they got to the table!  She also volunteered countless hours as a band parent for many years.  Marilyn was a faithful member of New Dover United Methodist Church for over 70 years, second only to her beloved husband John.

Marilyn is survived by: her loving husband John of 71 years; her 3 daughters Karen (Joseph Seickel), Alice (Jonathan Lamoreaux), and Gail (Robert Engel); her 8 grandchildren Kevin, Joseph, Jeffrey, Ryan, Erin, Melanie, Bobby, and Jacob; and her 8 great-grandchildren Casey, Riley, RJ, Serah, Kenley, Quentin, Rene and Murphy.  She was predeceased by her great-grandson Nate.

Marilyn will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Visitation Tuesday November 14, 2023 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Day of Funeral Visitation Wednesday November 15, 2023 from 8:30am to 9:30am followed by a 10:00am Funeral Service at the New Dover United Methodist Church New Dover Road Edison.
