Marie Vignola

Marie Delsanno, aged 86, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born on November 20, 1937, in Hoboken, NJ, Marie was the beloved daughter of Josephine and Daniel Delsanno. Marie was a beacon of love and warmth to all who knew her. She was predeceased by her brother Leonard Delsanno and her firstborn, Mary-Alice Chantler. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion, survived by her sister Lucille Favaro, her daughters Joanne Vignola, Jodi Becker, and Lori-lee Campo, along with 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren who loved and adored her.

Marie’s love for children was unmatched. She had a special gift with animals, particularly dogs. Her pure soul radiated through her gentle nature, and both children and animals were naturally drawn to her warmth and kindness. She was truly a nurturer at heart. Her bounteous spirit was evident in everything she did. Marie was always there for her family and friends, offering support, love, and guidance.  Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

A private funeral service will be held for her family on August 16, 2024.

Marie Delsanno will be forever remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Her generous heart and unwavering support for her loved ones will be deeply missed by all.
