Marie Josephine (Cicalese) Milano

Marie Josephine Milano, nee Cicalese, 87, passed away Thursday July 30, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family, she was born in Newark and resided in Avenel, Iselin and Clark before moving to Colonia 3 years ago.

Marie worked in the business office at Woodbridge Development Center in Avenel, NJ for 30 years retiring 2014. Her favorite time was Sunday afternoon dinners surrounded by her family. She volunteered at RWJ Hospital Rahway at the gift shop for the last 5 years.

She was predeceased by her husband Alphonse Milano, her daughter Donna DeGiorgio. Surviving are her children Lucille Chianca and her husband Albert, Maria Davidson and her husband Bruce with whom she resided and her son-in-law Scott DeGiorgio.  She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren Michael, Mark, Alexa, Adriana, Nicolina and her great granddaughter Gia Donna. She also leaves behind her cherished dog Rocky.

Visitation Saturday August 1, 2020 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at St Andrews RC Church, Avenel followed by a 12:00pm Mass. Interment St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Arrangements are by the Gosselin Funeral Home, Edison.
