Marie Hark

Marie 'Dolly' Hark passed away peacefully at home on January 23 after a brief illness. Marie, the daughter of Anthony and Elizabeth Calabrese was born and raised in Jamaica, Queens NY. She attended local schools and began work in NYC as an administrative assistant.

As fate would have it she met and married Kenneth Hark and moved to Colonia, NJ in 1954. They were blessed with a son, Thomas that same year. Among his many accomplishments he went on to become a member of the Who's Who Society.

They were charter members of the Springwood Swim Club and active in the Deutsche Club in Clark. In 1990's Marie worked as a receptionist for Sitar Realty.

In addition, Marie became an accomplished bridge player entering numerous tournaments and was three points shy of being designated as a Master Bridge player.

Predeceased by both Ken and Tom she is survived by cousins Janet Heller of Long Island, Lou Calabrese and Marie Spenser both of Florida. She also leaves behind Mike and Susan Bachley along with neighbors and many friends whose lives she touched. She will be sadly missed. Rest in Peace.
