Obituary
Maria, 88, passed away on May 20, 2022. She was born in Vallata, Italy to Pasquale and Maria Carmela Monaco. She married the love of her life, Michele Gervasio, and raised two children in Elizabeth, NJ. Maria was trained as a seamstress in Italy and enjoyed baking for her family and friends.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Michele, son Giuseppe, daughter Anna Maria, son-in-law Robert (Cioffi), and three grandchildren Nina, Daniella and Michael.
We celebrate her life - a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend and woman of faith.
Visitation Monday May 23, 2022, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Funeral Services Tuesday May 24, 2022, 8:15am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00am Mass at St Anthony's RC Church3rd Avenue Elizabeth, NJ. Entombment St Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
