Maria Cordoma Obituary

Maria Cordoma passed away Tuesday February 4,2020 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Reggio Calabria, Italy coming to the United States in November of 1963 settling in Elizabeth before moving to Colonia in 1995. She was a Teachers Aid for the Elizabeth Board of Education for 25 years before retiring in 2007. 

She was predeceased by her parents Antonino and Salvatora Cutrupi, her brothers Phillip and Francesco Cutrupi. Surviving are her husband of 57 years Santo Cordoma, her children Carmela Iskandar and her husband Mark, Joseph Cordoma and his wife Holly, Anthony Cordoma and his wife Megan, her grandchildren Marissa, Christopher, Brandon, Gabriella, Caitlin also her sister Grace Marino.

Family will receive friends and family on Friday February 7, 2020 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, at the Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Funeral Services 8:00am Saturday February 8, 2020 at the funeral home followed by a 9:00am Mass at St. John Vianney Church, Colonia. Entombment St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
