Lucia (Lucy) Palmisano, 79, of Red Bank, N.J., passed away peacefully on April 17, 2026, at Riverview Medical Center, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on January 16, 1947, in Gagliano Castelferrato, Sicily, Lucy was the daughter of Angela and Vincenzo Fiorenza. She carried with her the strength, resilience and warmth of her upbringing throughout her life, building a legacy defined by devotion to family, tireless work and an unmistakable spirit.
Lucy is survived by her beloved husband, Giuseppe, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership; her son Joe; her daughter-in-law Michelle; and her adored granddaughters, Grace and Gemma.
A gifted seamstress and entrepreneur, Lucy was the proud owner of Bridal Fantasy in Avenel N.J., where she dedicated countless hours to her craft. Known for her precision, creativity and unwavering work ethic, she helped generations of brides feel beautiful on one of the most important days of their lives. She treated every gown as if it were for her own family, often staying late into the night to make sure every detail was perfect. Her hands told a story of dedication—each stitch reflecting her commitment to excellence and her desire to bring joy to others.
Along with her relentless work ethic, Lucy was equally known for her vibrant sense of humor. She had a quick wit, a warm laugh and a way of lighting up any room she entered. Whether through a playful joke or a heartfelt conversation, she brought comfort and happiness to those around her.
