Many of you knew Louise Lippe as a teacher, tutor, seamstress, baker, volunteer, mentor and friend. She lived an exciting life, touched many people and was a strong willed and dedicated individual. Never shy to tell you what she thought, and strict in expecting the best out of everyone, Louise was an inspiration.
Louise Doris Grover was born in Newark, New Jersey to Frances (Savodnik) and Solomon Grover. Eventually settling in Tinton Falls, New Jersey with her younger sisters Rosaline (Roz) and Nancy, she went on to graduate from Monmouth College with a teaching degree. After meeting Bruce Lippe, a lawyer from New York, they married, had two sons. Setting in Edison, New Jersey. Louise taught throughout the Edison school system finding a home at MLK Elementary for decades until she retired.
Louise Lippe is survived by her sons Scott and Adam and eleven wonderful grandchildren. Bruce, passed nearly 30 years ago in 1996. Louise recently celebrated her 84th birthday.
Her memory is a blessing and she will be sorely missed.
