Laura June Jakubowski

Laura June Jakubowski, 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Brandywine Assisted Living at Toms River, NJ. She was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ moving to Iselin in 1960 then moving to Toms River three years ago.

Laura was a Homemaker and a volunteered at JFK Hospital in Edison for many years.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert Jakubowski , Sr., Surviving are her six children, Linda Jakubowski and her husband Michael Herkalo, Robert Jakubowski and his wife Mary Ellen, Richard Jakubowski and his wife Darile, Susan Neri and her husband Peter, Douglas Jakubowski and his husband Joseph Conforti, and Carol Lyons, nine Grandchildren, Raymond Sutton and his wife Cameron, John Sutton and his wife Tiffany, Heather Sammartino, Megan Polhemus and her husband TJ, Robert Jakubowski III, Amanda Terracciano and her husband Nick, Richard Jakubowskl Jr., Kristin Curry and her husband Philip and Peter Neri Jr., and eight great grandchildren, Mia, Mara, Bronwyn, Luke, Brayden, Alexis, Mackenzie and Madison.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 9:00 to 11:00am at the Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Road, Edison. The funeral service will begin at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.
