Julia Carrocino Obituary

Julia Carrocino, left this world on February, 16th 2022 for a better one.  She peacefully passed away surrounded by her beloved family.   Julia was born on November 18th, 1928 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to her late parents Lucia and Joseph DiPietro.  She was one of five children, of whom she always had a close relationship with.

She graduated from The South Philadelphia High School for Girls in June of 1946.  In the early 1980s, she accepted a position with Somfy Systems, where she would go on to work for over 25 years.

Julia was blessed with a loving family, but they were much more blessed to have her.  Julia and her husband Angelo shared over 69 exquisite years of marriage.  They traveled the world, developed endless friendships and spent a lifetime unconditionally devoted to one another.  She is also survived by her three daughters Debra, Janet and Sandra; her grandchildren Kyle and Adam, her son-in-law Robert, her sister Edna and many loving nieces and nephews.

Julia loved to laugh, dance and she made sure to never take life too seriously.  She had a special relationship with her faith, as well as her family.  She had a way of making every person she met feel as if they had a special connection to her.  She always found the best in people, even when they struggled to find it in themselves.  Julia’s impact on this world will forever be remembered.

All of Julia’s family and friends are invited to A Celebration of Her Life which will take place on Saturday, March 19th, 2022.  It will begin with a memorial at 12:30 pm at St. Helena Roman Catholic Church in Edison, New Jersey and will be followed by a luncheon at Bistro 1051 in Clark, New Jersey.
