Judy A Dorrbecker

Judy A. Dorrbecker passed away peacefully on September 30, 2022, at the age of 73. Born in Bayonne, NJ, and raised in Iselin, NJ, she moved to Union, NJ to raise her three children. She spent her final days surrounded by her daughters and grandchildren.

She spent her career passionately, as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and deaf language specialist for the state of NJ. She recently retired after 46 years of service. Her short, well-deserved retirement was spent lovingly doting over her five grandchildren.

Judy is predeceased by her parents, Rita and George Dorrbecker, and her two sisters Mary Elizabeth Dorrbecker and Dianne O’Neil. She is survived by her three daughters Alison Fitzgerald, Stephanie Guerra, and Emily Calefati, and her five grandchildren, Jackson, Jace, Autumn, Chloe, and Summer. She will be greatly missed by her family.

Memorial service visitation will take place on Thursday October 6th from 4-7PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home at 660 New Dover Road Edison, NJ. 

A graveside service and interment of ashes will take place the next morning, Friday October 7th at 11:30AM at St. Gertrude Cemetery at 53 Inman Avenue Colonia, NJ.
