Joseph Reilly

Joseph Reilly Jr. passed away on Monday, September 26 at JFK hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Joseph was born in Englewood and grew up in Edgewater, New Jersey. He moved to Iselin in 1979 where he raised his family and remained until his passing. He worked at PSE&G for over 40 years until he retired in 2019. He enjoyed watching his New York Yankees or New York Giants and spending time at the horse track. His favorite thing to do was to spend time with his family. He enjoyed watching his children play sports and later on watching his grandchildren in dance or sports. Joe had a great sense of humor. He was always ready with a witty one-liner.

Joe was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. Joe is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Anne, mother and father in law Bill and Josie McGuirl, and brothers in law Bob and Pat. He is survived by his wife, Kathy, of 47 years. His son Joey and wife Stephanie, daughter Jill, son Timothy and wife Danielle, and son Brian. Loving PopPop to Taylor, Brynn, Kendal, Jaxon, Samantha, and Madison. Brother to Joann and husband Eddie, Kathy and husband John, Jimmie and wife Phyllis, and Debbie. His sisters and brothers in law Marilyn, Tom, Marsha, Bill and Claire. Joe was also a fun and loving uncle, cousin and friend to many. Joe was loved by all and will be missed by many.

Visitation Friday September 30,2022 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Gosselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison with a 6:30 Blessing at the funeral home.
